Mr. Schnarr, in this article you use incorrect terminology when you say, “anti-choice crowd”.
The crowd you are referring to is not “anti” but very much pro-life, and pro-choice for that precious baby in the womb in order to give him or her a choice to live.
Also, in your article you describe “the poor wretch they (mom) are carrying”.

This letter is in response to the article "Why We Absolutely Do Not 'Need a Law" by J.W. Schnarr.
A baby is not the mother's body. As humans, we are all connected to one another in different ways and capacities; some are emotionally connected, others are politically connected, some distantly connected and others physically.

Abortion advocates love to talk about everything but abortion. Whenever the topic comes up they resort to using inaccurate terms and generally speaking, focus the discussion on anything but the procedure itself. Taber Times columnist, Mr. Schnarr did this just last week on these pages. Considering his worldview was so openly challenged, it is understandable he would react so loudly.

For many of us who have spent a large portion of our lives within those walls, that first line is a sucker punch to the stomach. Facebook makes news almost instantaneous. Reading a post from a former co-worker right after the meeting with the current employees that the plant was closing was like hearing a friend had passed away. So many memories flooded into my mind….
