Have you ever made a donation and wondered where your money went? It is staggering how many charities eat up your donation within their administration by paying a team of high price executives to run the organization. Sadly some charities donate as little as 14 cents of every dollar collected to their actual cause.

I called a meeting of the people a couple months ago to see if together we could come upon a solution with the issues that we've been having here in West View Estates. I also asked that Times editor Greg Price join us.

Because, we the residents of Linden View are unable to care for ourselves or our loved ones, we have moved into this care facility.
Most of us have sold our homes and have no other address at which we can receive our mail. The post office obviously no longer considers us citizens of Taber. There are 85 residents here who are all older people. We are still pretty much in the snail mail mind set. Very few of us have computers and mail is the only way we have to keep in touch with our family and friends.

There appears to be a gap in the education of the children in our community. There are a lot of opportunities to correct this. Perhaps a day of law enforcement would be a good idea as well.
