Editor, As last week’s editorial suggests, your newspaper continues to adhere to its sycophant, fawning approach to its coverage of all matters concerning the town’s Council and its Administration. Your conclusion that “council and administration did its due diligence” in finding the right man for the CAO job after “months” of searching is just supposition seemingly designed to portray Council in a positive light.

Congratulations to Taber town council and the recreation board for their decision to host the 2013 Southern Alberta Summer Games. Our cycling group told Ms. (Aline) Holmen that we’re definitely prepared to do this. It’s too bad that some other regions aren’t as public spirited as Taber. One shining example of this is the City of Lethbridge. The first Summer Games was in Pincher Creek in 1970 and in 42 years Lethbridge has only hosted once (2006).
