Letter to the Publisher
The letter and information I sent to you on June 20th were not meant to be a letter to the editor. It was a formal complaint that your newspaper, our only forum for receiving information on what’s happening in our town, had skewed my concern about justice/injustice in our local government into one of “one man causing over 100 hours of work” for our town’s administration as well as being the “cause of the huge increases in the town’s legal expenses.”

Editor,
On March 7, 2012 our town of Taber suffered a major loss. Each and every person living here was abruptly brought to their knees by the actions of two very thoughtless individuals who destroyed a thriving business and put caring individuals out of work.

Reader upset with Paradee verdict PDF Print

I’m writing this letter in regard to The Taber Times front page article “Paradee sentenced to 90 days in jail”, in the Wednesday, May 23, 2012 issue.
Judge D.G. Redman sentenced Curtis David Paradee to serve 90 days in jail, which will be served on the weekends, and to an 18 month conditional sentence order to be served in the community, followed by two years of probation.
