My opinion is cash cow and no, I have not received a ticket. I’m speaking out for Taber residents who feel the same as me.
Congratulations to the south bound traffic on Sunday Feb. 10 who may have noticed the photo radar box and van hidden nicely behind a fence, parked in an alley beside St. Mary’s. Unfortunate, for the north bound traffic who will find out in a week or two when they receive a ticket in the mail. In my opinion, if you preach that photo radar is a deterrent, then park the van and photo box on the road so drivers see it and slow down. If they see it enough then maybe they slow down every time they enter a playground zone which will eventually lead to less drivers speeding through a playground zone, which is what a deterrent is.
