Horizon School Division announces nominee |

Horizon School Division has named its nominee for the Edwin Parr Award.
Director of programs and services Dave Driscoll addressed board members at this month's meeting and said out of all the outstanding teachers in the division, Erin Matt is the jurisdiction's choice for 2008 Edwin Parr Excellence in First-Year Teaching award.
The Warner school Grade 3/4 teacher's nomination was approved for her outstanding contributions as a teacher in the area.
Of all candidates nominated in the 10 divisions in Zone 6, the teacher chosen will be announced at the Edwin Parr Awards ceremony in Taber on May 14. |
