Second guessing not needed

Posted on August 24, 2017 by Taber Times

With regard to a previous letter which appeared in last week’s edition (Aug. 16 Concerns over inheritance use by town), I have the following observations:

Loyal benevolent citizens of our community should avail themselves of the opportunity to have consultations with the mayor, CAO and director of planning and economic development with regards to the needs of our community.

They will then be well informed as to the most pressing needs and priorities which have been established by these responsible people. This will enable them to make a personal choice, which should then be incorporated into their last will and testament prepared by their personal attorney.

This yields satisfaction with their choice and peace of mind and rules out second guessing which occurs afterwards. The morning coffee “Klatschs” will have to discuss the weather or North American political issues instead!
