Prime Minister Trudeau is busy playing statesman rather than coming clean on his government’s complicity in the Admiral Norman affair (shades of SNC Lavalin).
In addition, he’s cronying up to President Macron of France with his promises of ‘Wood and steel, whatever you need to rebuild Cathedral Notre Dame; we’ll be there!’
I submit that with assets of $3 billion dollars on page 33 of its 2017 financial statement, the Vatican is in an excellent position to underwrite the restoration of Notre Dame. Trudeau would be better advised to stay at home and concern himself with the small provincial and Indigenous communities who have been without potable water to drink for many years.
Charity begins at home.
