Reader questions writer’s motive on M.D. council attack

Posted on December 4, 2019 by Taber Times

Not so fast Bob!

After reading former M.D. councillor Bob Wallace’s comments last week, I couldn’t help but wonder if Mr. Wallace suffers from a severe case of Hillary Clinton syndrome?

It seems that he hasn’t been able to get over the fact that he was voted out of office by the residents of the M.D. in the last election and has a vendetta against the new councillors.

He has called for resignations of THREE councillors without letting all of the facts be revealed.

What Mr. Wallace doesn’t seem to be aware of is how happy the residents of the M.D. (myself especially) are with the work these councillors are doing on our behalf.

My family has known these councillors for many years now and have always appreciated how unselfish and community minded these individuals have always been. I can speak of their integrity to put other’s interests ahead of their own and try as best as they can to make our community and area better for everyone, not just a select few — a trait that isn’t all that common these days, especially in the political spectrum. I’m more than willing to let these councillors speak for themselves on the issue at hand.

I’m sure Mr. Krizan did his job to the best of his abilities when he was employed by the M.D., but the fact that he left doesn’t necessarily put him in the right and the councillors in the wrong.
