EDITOR;
The Lions, Kiwanis, Knights of Columbus and The Kinsmen would like to express our appreciation to the people of Taber and area for their excellent support of the Haiti benefit supper and silent auction on Jan. 31.
The final report will be published in The Taber Times in next week’s edition.
The event was a success.

EDITOR;
I would like to thank the Taber and District Chamber of Commerce for the great honour that my company has received as Small Business of the Year. I feel very humble and proud to be recognized along with two other great Taber businesses, Bonnie’s Eye Care and especially CEM Heavy Equipment, who are one of my first and best customers for 25 years.

EDITOR;
After reading Mr. Price’s recent column regarding the Olympic torch ceremony, I must say I was perplexed by Mr. Price’s continuing crass comments regarding corporate sponsorship. Not only with this article but with previous articles as well, Mr. Price seems to go out of his way to bash the companies that take a lot of pride and put a lot of effort and financial resources into supporting national, provincial and local teams and events (unless of course they are sponsors of the local football team Mr. Price helps to coach... those sponsorships are encouraged. How odd given his disdain of sponsorships of most everything else).

EDITOR;
The Conservative party is sending flyers around saying how they are getting tough on crime. It may seem your spiel about getting tough on criminals is good work. From where I sit, this is not exactly the whole truth.
