EDITOR; Special words of appreciation go out to all the staff and volunteers at Central elementary school. Thanks for a wonderful past three years. The principal, Mr. Moser, does an amazing job at welcoming the entire family to the school and sets the stage for a great atmosphere throughout the entire school. We couldn’t have asked for a better beginning to the education of our kids.

EDITOR; On the evening of July 31, 2010, we took our son to the ER at the Taber Health Centre after he experienced sudden numbness and a total lack of control in his right leg. He told the nurses, “I’ve had a stroke.” She wasn’t at all concerned. While waiting, he began having severe back and stomach pain, which crept up into his chest, a symptom of aortic aneurysm. When this equipment needed repair, I put through a motion at residents’ council regarding repairing it, even though the Taber and District Housing board was oblivious we even had any exercise equipment. They removed it.

EDITOR; Thanks for your quick coverage of the Summer Games in Brooks, and congratulations to everyone who contributed to Taber’s overall second-place finish. Over the past six years, the M.D. of Taber has finished first three times and second three times.

EDITOR; When we arrived at Murray Chev-Olds Cadillac we were greeted by a line that extended from the north car lot all the way around the lot to the west side, where I believe Lethbridge rugby team members were manning the barricade to allow people in to have their picture taken with Lethbridge's own Kris Versteeg and the Stanley Cup, which he played a significant role in the Chicago Blackhawks winning.
