The first game saw the Terminators double up the Sharks 8-4 at the Taber arena on Saturday. Calin Kinniburgh had the hat trick for the Terminators and Cody Stange tallied twice. Down a game in a 6-2 defeat on the road last Thursday in the best-of-three series, the Suns rose with guts and determination to push the series to a third game and won 6-3 on Monday on the road to advance to the second round of playoffs. Myers wrestlers were earning medals at the Highwood High Wrestling Tournament in High River. Emmitt Campbell was awarded the bronze medal in the 108-kilogram category and Brandon Armstrong was awarded the silver at 90 kilograms. Celtics dismantled host County Central 83-52 in the final against a team that was shorthanded, which spelled trouble against a St. Mary’s squad that has had no trouble scoring points all season.
