Find a penny and pick it up and give it to the Taber Food Bank who is collecting bucks, with help from local businesses.
Now that pennies are no longer legal tender, it doesn’t mean pennies old or new can’t be given to a great cause. Penny bins were placed throughout the community at local businesses last Friday.

The Alberta Teachers' Association has rejected the province's offer for a four-year collective agreement late last month.
