Taber Novice Oil Kings 1 were able to upend Taber Novice Oil Kings 2 16-7 at the Taber arena on Sunday.
Kyler James and Walker Skiba each had four goals for Oil Kings 1 with Connor Eldridge and Heath Hansen each notching hat tricks. Cooper Ross tallied twice.
Replying for Oil Kings 2 were Rylan Millo with four goals and Jaxxon Pavka had two goals. Matthew Gensorek recorded a single.
The previous weekend, both teams squared off also with a tighter 11-10 win by Oil Kings 1 on Feb. 9.
Scoring for Oil Kings 1 were James with four goals and Skiba with the hat trick.
Hansen and Eldridge both had two goals apiece. Hansen and Eldridge also recorded assists. Cooper Ross earned the win in net.
Replying for Oil Kings 2 were Pavka and Millo with four goals each. Evan Rabusic and Ashton Lukacs each had one goal.
Lukacs also had three assists while Millo had two. Gensorek had one helper.
