PCs: Who are the Wildrose candidates?

Posted on May 1, 2015 by Taber Times

With a week to go before Albertans cast their ballots, it is important that the records and views of candidates
from all parties be looked at closely.
In Calgary—Bow, the Wildrose candidate is Trevor Grover. Curiously,
in his Wildrose biography, he makes no mention of his previous
political runs for office.
In particular, Wildrose makes no mention of his run for the fringe
Canadian Action Party –

proposes bizarre monetary policy and tearing up free
trade agreements.
Highlights from the 2006 Canadian Action Party manifesto –
http://cts.vresp.com/c/?PCAlberta/3a553ebd7d/48c9749f41/91fc2630cb :
“The Canadian Action Party’s two most urgent priorities are: The
abrogation of NAFTARestoring money creation to the Bank of
Canada”“scientific studies on Genetically Modified Organisms,
irradiation and vaccines”“select one or two new city cites (sic)
– perhaps one in the west and one in the east – as part of an
overall, comprehensive land-claims agreement. New cities that would
be designed, built, operated and governed by Aboriginal peoples.”
Why did Trevor Grover campaign on aboriginals being segregated into
their own cities? Why did he campaign on further scientific study on
vaccines? Does he still believe in these fringe policies?
Does Brian Jean believe a candidate who fought to kill free trade and
interfere in monetary policy should be a Wildrose MLA?
