I have been recycling for as long as Taber’s recycling depot has been in business, and recycle every possible item that is recyclable. This made me take an awful lot of truck loads to our recycle depot over the years. That was work!

I will welcome it if the recyclables are picked up from my house. It will be a small sacrifice for me to find a place for the cart in my back yard and to roll the cart out once or twice a month.

I also compost in my back yard. I don’t always feel like it, but make myself do it. It’s sometimes hard work to turn it over; it sometimes smells a bit, and it doesn’t look nice in the back yard.

I can’t wait to roll them out; to have a better waste management program, saving tax payers dollars and to be a better steward of the environment!!
