I am so very disappointed in raffles.
They take your money but rarely do they publish the winners.
Case in point — there was a wonderful write-up in the Taber Times of the Duck Race sponsored by the Taber Food Bank. I looked through the whole paper for the winners — nothing.
I looked in the Times the next week — still nothing. I have asked several people, no one knows. How about a little courtesy to the public.
If people are good enough to buy your tickets, would it hurt you financially to put a little note in the Taber Times? Just sayin’…
