Drugs seized after search

During the evening hours of Dec. 12, the Taber Police Service executed a search warrant in the 6100 block of 54th Street in Taber.  

The search warrant was the culmination of a short-term investigation that commenced during the first two weeks of December. As a result of the search warrant, seized from the residence was Cannabis Marihuana, Cannabis Resin, Psilocybin (magic mushrooms), a small amount of cocaine and a prohibited weapon (brass knuckles) . Charged are 18-year-old-male Dylan Sokol of Taber with two counts of Sec 5(2) CDSA Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking Cannabis Marihuana and Cannabis Resin, one count of Sec 7(1) CDSA Production of a Controlled Substance Cannabis Resin, one count of Sec 4(1) CDSA Possession of Psilocybin and one count of Sec 90(2) CC Possession of a Prohibited Weapon. Also charged is 19-year-old-female Esther Fehr of Taber with one count of Sec 5(2) CDSA Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking Cannabis Marihuana, one count of Sec 4(1) CDSA Possession of Cocaine and one count Sec 355(b) CC Possession of Proceeds Obtained by Crime.  Judicial Interim Releases were held for both subjects and they were released conditionally to appear in Taber Provincial Court on December 17, 2013.

Taber Police Service and Combined Forces Special Operations Unit (CFSUE) Lethbridge, conducted the investigation.
