The time is now if Taber Times readers want to get in on a free ePaper promotion that will end Oct. 31.
“For a limited time, loyal readers will get a chance to see exactly what they see on their printed paper on their computer screen as The Times looks to move forward in meeting the needs of a new generation of readers,” said Greg Price, editor of the Taber Times.
For those wanting to take advantage of the free trial, they can log onto tThe Taber Times website and click on ePaper at the top left corner. Readers can then type in ‘EPAPER’ (all caps, no dashes) on the user name with ‘freetrial1’ as the password.
“Some people still want the feel of the crinkle of a paper edition in their hands while others want their news on their laptop or tablet with their morning coffee as we are becoming increasingly globalized. We want to be as accessible to as many markets as we can be and leave no one behind in keeping them informed of what’s going on in the Taber area,” said Price. “We also have your snowbirds leaving for the winter soon, and we want to be able to have them have their news travel with them too.”
From your front pages, Your Town, sports pages, features, M.D. and Town of Taber council news, court news and classifieds, and other advertising, everything you read in the paper edition will be there for your ePaper.
“We want to give readers a chance to see if they like it and perhaps make the transition to a paperless version,” said Price. “Either way, we are looking for different ways to serve our loyal readers and advertisers better.”
