Tiering portion of minor hockey season concludes

The tiering rounds in minor hockey are now complete for Central Alberta Hockey League, after the Taber peewee Oil Kings dropped two games this past weekend.

The first was a 10-6 loss at the hands of Cochrane Rockies at home on Saturday.

Chase Stronge had the hat trick and Rex Bell tallied twice. Lincoln Weiss had a single. Tyson Church had two assists.

The team followed up with a 14-3 loss to Foremost Flyers on the road on Sunday.

Stronge, Zachary Fehr and Tage Jensen had singles.

ATOM: Taber Oil Kings lost 10-2 to Lethbridge Hurricanes on Saturday on the road.

Cruz Duell and Nixen Miller tallied for the Oil Kings.
